כ-230 מ"מ בתקופה של 140 שנה. חשבון של כתה א' מראה עלייה של 1.6
מ"מ/שנה.
אף על פי כן בכל
תחזיות העתיד הם לוקחים בחשבון עלייה הרבה יותר גדולה. בין שאר הגורמים עקב תצפיות
הלווינים שמחושבים להראות עלייה של 3.4 מ"מ/שנה.( כפול מהנמדד)

מהמרים על כל
האפשרויות ואז תמיד נהיה צודקים , אלא עם כן מפלס הים ירד ואז כבר לא נהיה בין
החיים.
